Cinnamon Road's Spicy Butter Chicken Spice Mix is “the bomb”. This hand-crafted blend of spices makes it easy for you to create the perfect, authentic and delicious Indian meal in the comfort of your own kitchen.

Our Spicy Butter Chicken Spice Mix contains no additives and no added sugar – it’s 100% natural. Our recipe also requires less butter and less cream than you’ll find in other Butter Chicken recipes. There’s no sugar, either. Our almond meal brings a creaminess and sweetness in perfect balance with the methi leaves that give such an authentic edge to this wonderful dish.

Always using the freshest ingredients, our spice kit includes a blend of 13 ground spices including coriander, turmeric, cardamom, cloves and just enough extra Kashmiri red chilli powder. There’s also a cassia stick, methi leaves, 3 whole Kashmiri red chilli peppers and a sachet of almond meal.

You add the chicken, onion, garlic, ginger, butter, tomato passata, tomato sauce, yoghurt and cream for this spiced-up family favourite.

  • Butter Chicken, also known as Murgh Makhani, is a popular dish in Indian cuisine. It originated in the Indian subcontinent, specifically in the region of Punjab. The dish was created in the 1950s by Kundan Lal Gujral, the founder of the famous restaurant Moti Mahal in Delhi, India.
