Our Story

Now also available at 44 retailers Australia-wide

With a long-held passion for great curries, COVID meant we were no longer able to revel in curry-fests at local Indian restaurants. So we fine tuned our cooking skills to get our spice fix. We found it easy to make truly authentic curries at home. The more we enjoyed our curries the more we were thinking we can make great home cooking easier for all curry-lovers. So that’s what we’ve done!

After a year in development, Cinnamon Road launched 11 authentic Indian Curry Spice Kits in Sydney’s Paddington markets during Christmas 2022. The kits quickly proved to be a winning formula with curry-lovers coming back for more at a number of markets across the Eastern suburbs.

With continuing online sales, 9 of Cinnamon Road’s Spice Kits are now also available to retailers across Australia. As at November 2024, 44 stores are stocking our kits which continue to be hand-crafted at a commercial kitchen in Banksmeadow near Maroubra.

In September 2023 we introduced tastings at our market stall in Sutherland. Importantly, in October we started video-recording people’s reactions to help us communicate customers’ real love and enthusiasm for our products.

Our Mission

OzHarvest! Giving Back

Cinnamon Road kits seek to make every meal a great meal for our customers. But today’s environment finds an increasing number of people who are grateful for any meal. That's why we're proud to be a wholly Australian business that supports OzHarvest.

OzHarvest saves surplus food from ending up in landfill, delivering it to charities that help feed people in need. They are committed to halving food waste by 2030, inspiring and influencing others to do the same, and transforming lives through education.

For every spice kit purchased, we are pleased to donate a portion of the proceeds to OzHarvest.
