A rich and tangy curry with real depth of flavour, yet still so easy to make.
Our Madras Spice Mix is a single sachet with the simplest of spice blends. We use only 5 of the robust spices most frequently used in curries. There’s only coriander, cumin, turmeric, chilli and black pepper. That’s all, but there’s a heck of a lot of it making this our hottest curry. But as with all Cinnamon Road curries, taste remains the most important characteristic. This curry will certainly not be too hot for anyone who likes that little extra spiciness.
Madras is also our easiest curry. The spices are quickly into the pot along with your garlic & ginger, stock and tomato paste. And don’t be shy on the lemon juice which brings that perfect tang.
For all of our kits, the Best Before date is predominantly 12-18 months.
